As retail heads back to the high street, M-Cube has hired CommsCo as its retained UK PR agency to promote its immersive in-store digital engagement solutions to some of the world’s best known brands.
CommsCo was selected from five agencies in the UK, and chosen for its extensive retail PR experience and agility as a B2B tech agency. M-Cube, the Italian digital engagement company, has a long history of pioneering in-store customer experience. It is one of the first companies to introduce digital signage to Italy, which has grown to a unique complete in-store marketing and digital engagement service.
M-Cube has worked with over 400 brands, including some of the world’s most recognisable names such as Dolce & Gabbana, EE, McDonald’s, Benetton, Tod’s and Bally. Since its founding in 2001, Milan-based M-Cube has expanded to a number of countries across the APAC and EMEA regions, including the UK, Hong Kong, and Paris.
The PR brief will be to increase M-Cube’s brand awareness in the UK, especially in the fashion, retail, finance & insurance, QSR, and automotive sectors. The leadership team chose CommsCo as its selected agency to drive growth and awareness and newsjack the busy retail media agenda.
“CommsCo ticked all the boxes when it came to choosing a PR agency that would make us stand out from the crowd,” said Carlo Cecchetto, Marketing and Communications Manager at M-Cube. “We are passionate about creating innovative and immersive experiences for our customers to boost brand engagement and take it that one step further in retail. In a market that has been shaken up by the pandemic, there has never been more of an important time to talk about how the highstreet is being reborn. We’re thrilled to have CommsCo’ support along that journey.”
Victoria Hourigan, Account Manager at CommsCo, said: “In an increasingly digitised world, consumers expect so much more from in-store shopping. M-Cube recognises the importance of bringing life back into the traditional storefront, and that tired retail experiences are only going to be left behind. We’re excited to bring our extensive experience in the retail tech space to our partnership with M-Cube, growing its profile both in the UK and abroad.”
