Founded in Italy in 2001, M-Cube are end-to-end specialists in strategic and innovative retail solutions. They are a European leader in In-Store Digital Engagement solutions. In May 2018, the M-Cube UK Digital Engagement LTD office opened in London under the direction of UK Business Director Alexios Blanos, former technical director  and current Worldwide Business Development Director.

CommsCo was hired in June 2022 to raise M-Cube’s profile in the UK market and support the company’s mission to use interactive tailormade solutions and digital store formats to boost customer engagement across the globe, both physically and digitally.

From Dolce and Gabanna to a Christmas sounds: how we positioned M-Cube

To begin, the CommsCo team conducted an ongoing PR campaign to raise M-Cube’s profile in the UK media. This included developing press releases, thought leadership articles, and finding podcast opportunities. In the past seven months alone we have generated over 60 pieces of coverage.

Results include:

  • 12 pieces of coverage generated from the Dolce and Gabanna story in publications including Data Centre Solutions, UK Tech News and Customer Experience Magazine.
  • Winning the 2022 Gold POPAI UK & Ireland Award for Digital Solutions with EE with coverage in CRMXchange, UKTN and others.
  • Thought Leadership article in Ecommerce Age about the new era of retail; how it is a combination of online and offline.
  • Podcast with Mike Sponza, M-Cube’s Co-Founder and Group Music & Licensing Director in IRIS Pod.

‘Gen Z’ Campaign 

The Gen Z survey was conducted in October 2022 and focused on how Gen Z approached shopping in-store or online. The survey showed that nearly half of the respondents said that going into the shop makes them anxious or nervous.

Outcomes included:
