The first ‘AI Go-To-Market Lab’ is launching today from B2B tech agency CommsCo, in conjunction with Andrew Burgess, AI visionary and founder of Greenhouse AI, a consultancy of AI experts and advisors.

The new venture will support AI startup and scaleup businesses with overall go-to-market messaging and differentiation advice and consultancy, accelerating the time to market with market research, competitive insights, and communications strategies.

The UK AI market is worth more than £16.9 billion, according to the US International Trade Administration, and is expected to grow to £803.7 billion by 2035. The new venture will aim to help these rapidly evolving companies receive senior level advice on product roadmap, service and market opportunity as a first stage. This will lead seamlessly onto website, media, and messaging advice as a second stage.

The AI Go-To-Market Lab will also include a detailed competitive overview and a workshop to discuss differentiation, in addition to a communications strategy to accelerate market awareness.

Andrew has worked as an advisor to C-level executives in technology for the past 30 years. As a thought leader and practitioner in artificial intelligence, he is regularly invited to speak at conferences on the subject. Andrew has written two books; ‘The Executive Guide to Artificial Intelligence’ and, with the London School of Economics, ‘The Rise of Legal Services Outsourcing’.

“I’ve been advising AI companies for the past decade and the acceleration of development in the past two years has been remarkable,” said Andrew. “There is so much potential for UK companies to excel in the field of AI, as long as the first steps they make are the right ones. This feels like the best way of supporting the industry to deliver responsible and innovative AI and to get small businesses well on the way to success.”

“We’ve worked with Andrew for a few years now and his senior level advice and experience is incredibly valuable to both us and our clients,” said Ilona Hitel, founder of CommsCo PR. “Given our experience with challenger brands, it made sense to combine our expertise to help companies to differentiate and communicate their offering in the optimum way. The UK is facing tough times and anything we can do to help these startups accelerate from the outset is a positive. It’s an exciting venture.”

CommsCo has experience of supporting and launching AI challenger brands and is well referred by clients including Dataiku, TurinTech, and Bayezian.
