Last month, we celebrated the launch of Andrew Burgess’ new book, ‘The Executive Guide to AI’. It was a great night with plenty of insight and debate between those on all sides of the AI conversation. For a full rundown of the launch, you can read our takeaways blog here.
Throughout the evening, we quizzed attendees on a whole range of opinions, predictions and misconceptions on AI – and the results were fascinating.
Attendees were asked questions ranging from whether AI can ever create something that moves us emotionally, is more regulation needed, and what role artificial intelligence may play in their jobs five years down the line.
Gaurav Bhutani of Espire Infolabs, Chris Hobbs of History Bomb, and Andrew Burgess himself were some of the names who stepped up to chat to us, discussing how to ask the best questions for the right answers, fast tracking manual work, and the quality of the date you are using. Much of the thinking focused on AI “not being everything to everyone”; from a business point of view, it’s about specifically focusing on how it can best support you rather than viewing it as a silver bullet solution. The same goes for quality of data, which our attendees stress the importance of several times.
