Promoting AccountsIQ in its mission to help finance teams scale

AccountsIQ is an award-winning cloud accounting software company, helping fast-growing and mid-sized enterprises to scale quickly and effectively. The company is trusted by over 35,000 users in more than 6,000entities, from the Irish Times to Five Guys, helping advanced finance management solutions for ambitious businesses to work smarter and achieve more.
The company enlisted CommsCo as its PR partner in April 2024. The partnership initially had two key aims. One was to amplify ongoing awareness of the brand and its technology and position its senior team as thought leaders in the industry. The other was to promote its significant €60m funding from Axiom, which will be used to build the growing team, enhance the product with AI and other technological developments and boost marketing and brand awareness.
The first six months
From April to October, our partnership achieved:
* 98 coverage hits with a combined total of over 115m unique monthly visitors
* Coverage hits in leading sector publications like Fortune, TechCrunch and Business Post
* Four award wins from submitted six entries
* Thought leadership and Q&A coverage in publications such as The Accountant, FinancialIT, Accountancy Ireland and Accounting Insights News
* A variety of podcasts and Q&As secured for AccountsIQ CEO and Founder Tony Connelly
When it came to its funding round in June, the team secured 58 pieces of coverage with a combined total of more than 29 million UMVs, alongside further awareness from corresponding social media posts by journalists and publications.
The creation and launch of a new report series
In addition to ongoing brand awareness building, AccountsIQ also wanted to create and launch a new annual report series that examined the challenges facing CFOs and their finance teams.
Our work and results from the project included:
* Conducting a survey in September for 260 CFOs and finance leaders from businesses based in the UK and Ireland
* Drafting a 2,500-word research report using the survey results for the inaugural edition of the new CFO Mindset series
* Achieving coverage in a range of national and industry-leading publications, including The Irish Times and a mention in Sifted’s newsletter, which is sent to its 100,000 subscribers
