CommsCo began working with Oxford University start-up, Oxehealth, and played an instrumental part in growing its profile across UK national, healthcare, and technology press.

Our Approach

CommsCo’s team worked to first engage target media and build influencer relationships in order to promote Oxehealth’s brand and drive understanding of their offering and market positioning. Alongside ongoing content creation and award entries, the team secured multiple national coverage opportunities across a variety of platforms, including broadcast, radio, online, and print. Key to the ongoing PR campaign was driving Oxehealth’s positioning as the go-to authority for comment on healthtech issues. This generated a growing profile for the company’s CEO and contributed towards taking Oxehealth’s profile beyond start up and towards scale up.

Game Changing Results

Throughout the three-year campaign, key results included:
  • Coverage in BBC South Today, BBC Oxford Radio, BBC Coventry & Warwickshire Radio, The Telegraph, Daily Mail, New Scientist, and Management Today
  • Being chosen to participate in TechCrunch Start-up Battlefield and becoming one of a select few finalists in the event (more than 500 entries were submitted)
  • Attributable lead generation – after placing a customer story on BBC News, Oxehealth was approached by a large public organisation that consequently became a customer itself
  • Being nominated for various awards, including the OBN Awards, the Colin Campbell Michell Awards, and the Queen’s Anniversary Award
