PR, Social Media & Campaign Account Manager

We are currently looking for a skilled, passionate and self-motivated Account Manager.  The right candidate will have a passion for the media, and come up with and drive through new ideas, working with tech leaders in the SME B2B tech space.

The CommsCo has just won a number of dynamic technology brands and is supporting a growing portfolio of opportunities which include broadcast and business PR, national campaigns, awards, social media engagement, and influencer outreach.

Content creation will form a fundamental part of what you do in your daily work; so, an ability to write for different audiences, and also re-purpose copy for social channels, is essential.

The role will be based at the company’s Richmond (London) office, and the successful candidate will work with the small but growing team to manage a great client portfolio, as well as shape the agency’s future. In summary, the opportunities are significant for the right candidate.

You will have:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in B2B technology marketing / PR
  • Research skills and an ability to develop ides for media pitching
  • Social media knowledge and experience in managing client accounts
  • Strong copywriting skills for press, blog, opinion pieces and social
  • Passion for media stories and current trends
  • Organisation skills to manage activity, report, and forecast
  • Knowledge of social media and measurement tools such as Hootsuite and Google Analytics
  • Natural aptitude for attention to detail

PR, Social Media & Content Account Executive

The successful candidate will have a marketing, English, or business related degree, and have a clear interest in developing a career in PR. The individual will convey passion and enthusiasm as well as demonstrating a can-do attitude.

Content creation will form a fundamental part of what you do in your daily work; so, an ability to write for different audiences including via social channels is essential.

The role will be based at our Richmond (London) office, and the successful candidate will work with the small but growing team to manage an expanding client portfolio located in London and further afield.

You will have:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong social media skills and active use of new tools and applications such as Hootsuite, Radian6 and WordPress
  • Professional project management skills
  • Ability to support a portfolio of clients
  • Natural aptitude for attention to detail
  • Ability to liaise with clients and media
  • Effective time management skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

The key responsibilities of the role include drafting client content which will include but is not limited to press releases, blog posts and social updates. The successful candidate will keep up to date on media stories and trends and assist with research and developing ideas for new business pitches. Responsibilities will also include overseeing and inputting to the reporting of activity and campaign overviews, and organising and managing meetings, briefings, and events where appropriate.

After a period of three months, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to join the company pension scheme and will be included in a quarterly bonus scheme based on company performance.

PR Intern

A key part of The CommsCo’s business and cultural ethos is continual growth and development – that’s why we run regular training programmes for our graduates, and have an internship programme that provides university students and graduates alike with the opportunity to dip their toe in the communications pond and see what PR agency life is really like.
