The agency aims to raise the company’s profile as an industry leader servicing some of the world’s largest organisations and running on some of the most complex networks on the planet.
Born out of a university research project, Endace has become a global supplier of packet capture and network recording solutions. Much like a CCTV designed for networks, Endace technology lets customers record all the activity on their networks. In the event of a security alert or network performance problem they can quickly rewind and playback the event to see exactly what happened. Customers include 5 out of 10 of the top global Telcos, large retailers, global banks, healthcare organisations and US, European and APAC government and defence departments.
CommsCo will be responsible for driving PR campaigns, UK media outreach, press office and supporting event activity. Mark Evans, VP Marketing, will manage the agency from Endace’s headquarters in New Zealand.
Endace CEO, Stuart Wilson, said appointing CommsCo as Endace’s UK-based agency reflects the importance that the company places on the EMEA region.
“Until now, we haven’t had a UK-based PR agency. EMEA is an important region for us and home to some very important, and long-serving Endace customers,†he said. “We talked to several agencies, but the CommsCo team impressed us with their enthusiasm and ability. Other CommsCo customers we talked to spoke extremely highly of them too.â€
Ilona Hitel, MD and founder at CommsCo, said: “We are delighted to be working with Endace. It’s always great to bring a client on board which has a story as exciting as Endace’s and such an impressive portfolio of customers. With network outages and breaches being covered so regularly in the media, we are looking forward to working with Endace to deliver best practice advice about how organisations can protect the reliability and security of their critical network infrastructure.”
